Lucy
Lucy has baked ever since she was very little with her parents & grandparents. In 2020 Lucy decided to make a 30th birthday cake for her brother which then led to Cakes by Lucy being created!
Cakes by Lucy has grown so much over the past few years & in May 2022 Lucy quit her full time job and went full time with the business. In June 2022 Lucy even created her own showstopping wedding cake!
All of Lucy's cakes are completely bespoke & baked with love from scratch using all fresh ingredients. Lucy has an eye for creating elegant, flawless cakes with an incredible attention to detail.
As well creating memorable, showstopping cakes to wow your guests, Lucy's cakes also taste exceptional.
Home based in the stunning Peak District, Glossop, Derbyshire, Lucy lives with her husband and sassy house bunny, Flora!

- In case you haven't already guessed Lucy is a HUGE animal lover. If you have pets she would love to hear all about them
- Lucy loves music, you will often find her singing & dancing in the kitchen whilst baking, usually to punk rock! Lucy can also play the acoustic guitar
- Fave colour = LILAC
- Lucy's hobbies include reading (crime thrillers), ballet & tap dance, spending time with family, the theatre, & eating out (Italian all the way, she is a pasta gal!
- Lucy's top 3 cake flavours are White Chocolate & Raspberry, Chocolate Guinness & Sticky Ginger.
- Lucy's first job was at Dominos Pizza! She was chuffed to bits to land her first job part time whilst at college.
- Top 5 films: Star Wars, Ace Venture, Princess Diaries, Rush Hour & Harry Potter!
- Fave holiday destinations - Rome, Tenerife & Santorini
